Scaling-up for Tourism: Opportunities for Innovation in Tourism and the Challenges to Adapt to Transformation.

The IPBN Algarve committee did partner with the University of Algarve, Algarve STP and NEST Tourism Innovation Center Portugal to host an event entitled, “Scaling-up for Tourism: Opportunities for Innovation in Tourism and the Challenges to Adapt to Transformation,” which took place in the Sala Atos at the Faculty of Economics at the UAlg Gambelas Campus in Faro, Algarve on Thursday February 24 from 10:15 am to 12:00 pm.

To further illustrate the future of the tourism sector, the IPBN, along with Hugo Barros of the Algarve STP invited MTI – Managing the Intelligence by CEO Miguel Silva to present their businesses as a case study for what may be next on the horizon for the sector as a whole.
